India reports 6,168 new COVID-19 cases, active cases stand at 59,210

India has reported 6,168 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. As many as 21 patients succumbed to the coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases in India now stands at 59,210 and the COVID-19 positivity rate has dropped to 1.94%.
