India reports 7,946 new COVID-19 cases and 37 deaths

India has reported 7,946 new COVID-19 cases and 25 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. Additionally, 12 reconciled deaths from earlier period were added in Kerala. This comes a day after the country recorded 7,231 COVID-19 cases. Active cases in the country dropped to 62,748, while the daily positivity rate stood at 2.98%.
