India's ₹2,300 crore green methanol plant to launch by 2027

Deendayal Port Authority and Assam Petro-Chemicals Ltd have partnered on a ₹2,300 crore green methanol project. Starting at 50 tons/day by January 2027, it will support Asia-Europe trade, create 3,500+ jobs, and offer e-methanol at $750/ton — below global rates — advancing India's net zero and Make in India goals.
