India’s 1st bullet train corridor to get earthquake sensors

The entire corridor of India’s first bullet train will be equipped with earthquake detection seismometers. According to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited, this technology will initiate protective actions within seconds to stop trains immediately in case of an earthquake. This will help improve passenger safety on India’s first bullet train.
