India’s 1st indigenous bullet train set to roll out by April 2027

India is building its first indigenously developed bullet train, expected to roll out by April 2027. The train is being developed by Integral Coach Factory in a joint venture with Indian Railways. The prototype of the high-speed bullet train is currently under development and will be capable of reaching speeds of up to 280 km/h.
