India's 1st SME semiconductor plant opens in Rajasthan

Rajasthan has entered India's semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem with the inauguration of the state's first semiconductor plant in Bhiwadi. Developed by Sahasra Semiconductors, the facility is India's first SME-led semiconductor production unit and aims to manufacture up to 600 million semiconductor units annually, marking a major boost for India's electronics and chip manufacturing ambitions.
