India's 4-year-old Elena Mishra becomes youngest female chess player with FIDE rating

Four-year-old Elena Mishra from Odisha has become the youngest female chess player to hold an official FIDE rating. Elena, aged four years, six months and 16 days, received a Blitz rating of 1,432 after competing in the Odisha State Blitz FIDE Rating Championship. She is currently the only female player born in 2022 or later to hold a FIDE rating.
