India's Akash missile in demand across multiple countries

India's indigenous Akash missile system, developed by DRDO, has been exported to Armenia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, with Brazil, Egypt, and Philippines showing interest. India's defence exports hit $4 billion in FY2026, a 62% jump. BrahMos exports are set to cross $600 million. India targets ₹50,000 crore in defence exports by 2030.
