India's billionaire count expected to jump 51% by 2031: Knight Frank

The number of billionaires in India is projected to rise 51% from 207 in 2026 to 313 by 2031, according to Knight Frank's The Wealth Report 2026. The number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, those with over $30 million in net worth, is also expected to grow 27% to 25,217. India currently has 19,877 UHNWIs, accounting for 2.8% of global UHNWIs.
