India's crude imports took big hit due to Middle East war: Report

India's crude oil imports saw a sharp decline in early March due to the war in West Asia, as per Systematix Research. "India's import volume...nosedived to just 1.9mn bbls at week ended 6th March vs 25mn bbls per week in February 2026," the report said. It attributed the sharp fall in imports to weakening crude supply from the Middle East.
