India’s crude sourcing not reliant on Hormuz route: Hardeep Puri

India's crude sourcing is not critically dependent on the Strait of Hormuz, Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said amid Middle East tensions. He noted that Indian firms have secured diversified supplies that bypass the key chokepoint, reducing disruption risks. "Indian energy companies now have access to energy supplies that are not routed through the Strait of Hormuz," Puri said.
