India’s data centre capacity to rise sixfold by FY31: Study
India's data centre capacity is projected to grow nearly sixfold, from 1.8 GW to around 10.5 GW by FY31, according to a report by investment bank Morgan Stanley. The expansion will be driven by rising AI adoption and data localisation norms. The firm said AI workloads alone are expected to account for about 6.8 GW of the projected capacity.
