India’s data centre pipeline tops 8.3 GW amid AI boom: Study
India's data centre industry is set for expansion, with a development pipeline of 8.33 GW, according to Knight Frank India. The planned capacity is more than five times the country's existing operational capacity, reflecting rising demand from AI, cloud services and data localisation. Of the pipeline, 0.32 GW is under construction and 2.92 GW is committed.
