India's domestic air passenger traffic up 8.4% YoY in April 2025

India's domestic air traffic rose 8.45% YoY in April 2025, with flights carrying 143.16 lakh passengers, as per official data. Meanwhile, the passenger traffic fell in April when compared to March 2025, which stood at 145.42 lakh passengers. The fall was due to aviation disruptions in a few states following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
