India’s first glass bridge over sea inaugurated in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin inaugurated India’s first glass bridge over sea connecting the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar statue in Kanniyakumari on Monday. The 77-metre long (252 feet) bridge was built at the cost of ₹37 crore and is designed like a bowstring arch. “It provides a thrilling experience of walking above the sea,” a tourist official said.
