India’s first Tricuspid TEER treats rare Barlow’s Disease

Doctors have reportedly performed India’s first Tricuspid TEER procedure for severe tricuspid regurgitation caused by Barlow’s Disease, avoiding open-heart surgery. Led by Dr Ravinder Singh Rao, the team used a dedicated device to place two clips, reducing valve leakage by over 90%. The elderly patient recovered well following the minimally invasive procedure.
