India's forex reserves hit all-time high of $692.3 billion

India's forex reserves rose for the sixth straight week to reach a record high of $692.3 billion in the week ended September 20. Reserves increased by $2.84 billion in the week, after having grown by $19.3 billion in the prior five weeks. Gold reserves rose by $726 million, while foreign currency assets increased by $2.06 billion in the reporting week.
