Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) has invited Indian firms to develop kamikaze drones, surveillance drones and tethered UAVs for future battle tanks under the FRCV programme. The project aims to boost battlefield awareness and precision strike capabilities with indigenous technology. AVNL could procure 590 drone systems if its tank platform is selected by the Defence Ministry.
