India's GDP growth slows to 5.4% in July-September quarter, lowest in nearly 2 yrs
India's GDP growth has slowed to 5.4% in the July-September quarter of the financial year 2024-25, which is the lowest in nearly two years, according to data released by National Statistics Office. In comparison, economy grew 6.7% in the previous quarter and 8.1% in the year-ago period. Reserve Bank of India had estimated a GDP growth of 7% in Q2.
