India's GDP may grow at 6.4% in 2026 & at 6.6% in 2027: UN report

India's economy is projected to grow at 6.4% in 2026 and at 6.6% in 2027, a report by the United Nations said. The country's growth edged up to 7.4% in 2025, supported by "robust consumption and export front-loading ahead of the US tariffs", the report added. UN projected India's inflation to be 4.4% this year and 4.3% in 2027.
