India's gems, jewellery exports in Nov grew 19% YoY to $2.5 bn

India's gems and jewellery exports grew around 19% year-on-year to $2.5 billion in November, according to the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). The overall gross export of cut and polished diamonds was at $919.74 million. Meanwhile, rising gold jewellery prices impacted the exports, which were flat at $1.21 billion in November against $1.23 billion a year ago.
