India's global chemical sector share to increase to 5-6% by 2030

India's global chemical sector share is projected to rise to 5-6% by 2030, targeting a $1 trillion turnover by 2040, the government said. Union Minister JP Nadda highlighted ₹13,000 crore for Bio-Pharma SHAKTI and three Chemical Parks as a strategic push to boost manufacturing, innovation, and India's global competitiveness in chemicals.
