India's GST collection in Oct second-highest ever at ₹1.87 lakh cr

India's gross GST collection rose roughly 9% year-over-year to ₹1.87 lakh crore in October, recording the second-highest monthly GST collection ever. Net GST collection also rose around 8% YoY to ₹1.68 lakh crore in the month. Increased domestic sales during the festive season drove the growth, while the contribution from imports slowed.
