India's GST collections surge 22.9% to ₹2.31 lakh crore in Oct

India's gross GST collections rose 22.9% YoY to ₹2.31 lakh crore in October 2026, up from ₹1.88 lakh crore a year ago, as per Finance Ministry data. Net revenue grew 25.6% to ₹2.03 lakh crore. Import GST surged 42.2%, while domestic collections grew 15.8%. Cumulatively, April–October collections rose 13.2% to ₹14.77 lakh crore.
