India's Gukesh D records 1st win in World Chess Championship against China's Ding Liren

India's 18-year-old Grandmaster Gukesh D, the youngest World Chess Championship contender, registered his first victory in Game 3 of the 14-game World Chess Championship against reigning world champion Ding Liren of China. Both Gukesh and Liren have accumulated 1.5 points each in the World Chess Championship. Liren had won Game 1, while Game 2 had ended in a draw.
