India's industrial output jumps to 2-year high of 6.7% in November

India's Index of Industrial Production (IIP) jumped to a two-year high of 6.7% in November after a flat performance in October, according to the latest government data. This was driven by 8% growth in the manufacturing sector. The mining sector also recorded a growth of 5.4%, while the electricity generation slipped 1.5%.
