India's LPG consumption falls 16% in April amid Middle East war

India's LPG consumption fell about 16% year-on-year to roughly 2.2 million tonnes in April as Middle East tensions disrupted supplies, according to preliminary government data. Demand was also lower month-on-month, compared with 2.379 million tonnes in March. Jet fuel demand declined 1.37% year-on-year to 761,000 tonnes in April, while petrol consumption rose 6.36% YoY.
