India's navigation system, NavIC has now only 3 active satellites

India's NavIC navigation system has dropped to just three functional satellites, below the minimum required for accurate positioning. A former IAF chief has called it a 'failure', highlighting serious concerns. Caused by satellite and atomic clock failures, the setback impacts defence and civilian use, posing challenges to India's goal of achieving independent satellite navigation capability.
