India’s net direct tax collections rise 13.2% to ₹13.38 lakh crore

India's net direct tax collections rose 13.21% year on year to ₹13.38 lakh crore as of October 14 in FY27, despite a 24.22% increase in refunds to ₹2.65 lakh crore. Gross direct tax collections grew 14.89% to ₹16.03 lakh crore during the period. Net corporate tax collections increased 20.57% to ₹5.99 lakh crore.
