India's new BIT framework to get Cabinet approval soon: Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said India's new Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) framework will soon receive Cabinet approval. The template, in preparation for 1.5 years, improves on the 2016 model. India has signed agreements with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, and Central Asian nations, with talks ongoing with Canada and Russia.
