India's pharma industry can rise to $120 bn in next 5 years: Goyal

Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday said India's pharmaceutical industry has not reached its potential and could double from $60 billion to $120 billion in the next five years. "About 65-70% of World Health Organisation's requirements on vaccines are sourced from India," he added. Goyal further said that 10 out of the world's 25 largest pharmaceutical firms operate from India.
