India's population growth is slowing: SBI Research

World's most populous country India's population growth is slowing, according to SBI Research's report. It projected the country's total population in the range of 138-142 crore in 2024, up from 121.1 crore in 2011. The report stated that India's working-age population is on a rising trend and the number of elderly people is estimated to cross 15 crore in 2024.
