India's remittances to reach record $140 bn in FY26: SBI report

Remittances to India might reach $137-140 billion in FY26 before stabilising at $135-137 billion in FY27, according to an SBI Research Report. The estimate follows strong inflows of $110 billion till December 2025, up from $100 billion in the same period last year. This comes after RBI's Monetary Policy Committee kept the repo rate unchanged at 5.25%, retaining neutral stance.
