India's richest CM and Congress leader DK Shivakumar, who holds assets worth ₹1,413 crore, said he once paid ₹50 for haircut after becoming Karnataka's CM and believes in simple living. BJP's Karnataka unit called it "hypocrisy pro max". BJP shared pictures of his Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watch and Louis Vuitton Reykjavik Scarf and said these also indicate "simple living apparently".
