India’s space sector may rise 5-fold to $45 bn by 2030: Report

India's space economy is expected to rise five-fold from 2023 to reach $40-45 billion by 2030, global investment firm Jefferies said. It added that private firms are going from early-stage innovation to commercial execution after the sector was opened to private participation in 2020. Jefferies further said the space sector could help lead to India's next industrial growth phase.
