India's top contributing states to NSDP in 2024-25

According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Maharashtra retained its position as India’s top state in terms of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), with an estimated GSDP of ₹45.31 lakh crore for 2024–25, up from ₹40.56 lakh crore in 2023–24. Tamil Nadu followed, with ₹31.03 lakh crore.
