India's top IT companies lost ₹4,400 crore to new labour codes
India's top IT companies TCS, Infosys and HCLTech have lost nearly ₹4,400 crore in exceptional charges related to the implementation of the new labour codes. The losses have resulted in a steep, double-digit decline in profits for the three companies in the October-December 2025 quarter. TCS incurred the highest loss, at ₹2,128 crore, followed by Infosys, at ₹1,289 crore.
