India seeks entry into major global bond indices: Report

India is stepping up efforts to secure inclusion in major global bond indices, including the Bloomberg Global Aggregate Index, The Economic Times reported. RBI and finance ministry officials are likely to engage with global bond index providers and the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). The push follows recent measures aimed at attracting greater foreign investment.
