Foreign investors pulled ₹43,001.52 crore from India in September 2026 amid high oil prices and global tensions. FPI ownership hit a 17-year low of 15.1%. Meanwhile, Taiwan and South Korea saw AI investment outflows of $796 mn and $3.17 bn respectively. Experts say India needs consistent inflows to become a true AI investment hub.
