India sees 3.5 lakh AI job opening in just 90 days: Report

India recorded nearly 3.5 lakh AI-related job openings over the last 90 days, despite mounting fears of an AI-led layoff spree, a new report from staffing company Quess Corp revealed. It estimated India's AI workforce to be 9.2 lakh, but said only 2.57 lakh professionals qualify as core AI talent. Generative AI and prompt engineering roles face 82.9% demand-supply gap.
