India sends 10-tonne aid to flash-flood-hit Nepal

India has sent ten tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Nepal after flash floods wreaked havoc in parts of the country. The aid was handed over by Ambassador Naveen Srivastava to Nepal's Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mr Khadak Raj Paudel. "India stands firmly with Nepal and remains committed to extending all possible support," MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said.
