India sends 1st sea shipment of Banganapalle mangoes to Singapore

APEDA, in collaboration with the ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, has facilitated the country's first commercial sea shipment of five metric tonnes of premium Banganapalle mangoes to Singapore. The consignment was exported by Osum Food Solutions. This will nearly double farmers' returns to around ₹50 per kg compared with domestic prices of ₹25-26 per kg.
