India sends 2nd consignment of 37.5 tonnes relief aid to Nepal
India on Thursday handed over its second consignment of 37.5 tonnes of HADR material, medicines and food packets to flood-hit Nepal. The assistance comes as devastating floods have claimed nearly 359 lives, while over 280 Indians remain missing. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said efforts are underway to ensure the safety and well-being of Indians stranded in affected areas.
