India sends more warships to Gulf of Oman to escort its fuel ships
India is sending additional warships to Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea to ensure safe passage of vessels carrying fuel and LPG, reports said. The Navy is deploying over half a dozen warships, which will be stationed east of the Strait of Hormuz and won't enter the waterway. According to government data, 22 India-flagged vessels are stranded in Persian Gulf.
