India sends sacred Buddha relics to Mongolia for 10-day exposition

India on Saturday sent the sacred relics of Lord Buddha to Mongolia for a 10-day public exposition, announced by PM Narendra Modi during the Mongolian President's visit in October. Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya is leading the delegation accompanying the relics belonging to two principal disciples of Lord Buddha, Arhant Sariputra and Arhant Maudgalyayana. IAF's Gajraj airlifted the relics.
