India set to overtake Japan's economy in 2025: IMF report

India is poised to overtake Japan in 2025 to become the fourth-largest economy in the world, according to the latest World Economic Outlook by IMF. With sustained GDP growth above 6%, India is on track to surpass Germany by 2028 as well, continuing its rise as a global economic powerhouse while traditional economic leaders face slowdowns, the report added.
