India sets 2029 drug-free target with 3-year roadmap

The Centre has launched a 2026-29 roadmap to make India drug-free by 2029, featuring four pillars, 25 components and 200+ action points. Key targets include state-level Anti-Narcotics Task Forces by March 2027, 30-day forensic reports, one lakh 'Nasha Mukt Mitras', and repatriation of 100 drug-linked fugitives from abroad.
