India sets up control room in Makkah for stranded Umrah pilgrims

India established an additional control room at the Indian Haj Pilgrims Office in Makkah to assist Umrah travellers stranded due to flight disruptions caused by Houthi drone and missile strikes on Saudi Arabia. Air India, IndiGo, and Akasa Air have suspended Saudi operations until October 17. Helpline numbers are available in both Makkah and Jeddah.
