India showcasing culture anew by reviving Lord Buddha's legacy: PM

During celebration of International Abhidhamma Divas, PM Narendra Modi said India is showcasing its culture and civilisation anew through the revival of Lord Buddha's legacy. "I was born in Vadnagar...which was once a major centre of Buddhism," he stated. "It's my good fortune that the journey of association with Lord Buddha that began [during]...my birth has continued uninterrupted," he added.
