India shows world that tradition & science can advance together: WHO chief

WHO chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus highlighted the relevance of traditional medicine in addressing contemporary health challenges. He also praised India's approach. "From the establishment of a dedicated Ministry of Ayush, to the creation of WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre in Jamnagar, India has shown that tradition and innovation, heritage and science can advance together," he said.
